I'd like to join a running club in Newcastle. Can anyone recommend one? I prefer a larger club to join.

There are quite a number of running/athletic clubs in the Newcastle area. Some are purely running based, whilst others (generally the larger ones) include field athletics - all the jumpers and throwers etc. Here are a few for starters. I can get more if you need them.

I live in Cramlington, but fancy joining a club in Newcastle.

Won't that mean a lot of travelling to get to club runs? There are clubs in Cramlington and Blyth, I think.
