Beginner Training for Bristol Half

Hi
I am training for the Bristol Half Marathon in September and looking for a bit of advice, tips etc.

I am running about 2.5 miles in about 25-30 mins and need to get further than that! Not worried about time, just getting round the course. Am following the training schedule I got from the website and I am getting better but I am finding it hard going and could do with some motivation!

Anyone got some tips/advice?

Thanks
