Thanks Dan, have added it to my list of races.
Cheers!

Wont be going to Italy Ozbozo. Would have liked to defend my 800m title (and I know I can run faster) but it wouldn't be fair on my partner, who is not track oriented, to be hung around in Riccione for ten days. If there'd been a MV75 category at the World Mountain Running Championships in Austria we'd have gone there (and won it!) as we both prefer mountains to the boring flat stuff. My partner was first Brit in her LV60 category last year in Switzerland which encouraged her no end!
Anyhow, my racing season is virtually over now and my race times are taking a downward spiral. It will be nice to get on the plane to Switzerland in ten days time , forget all about running for a couple of weeks, and just enjoy the grandeur of the high Alps.
Cheers!

Congrats on a great season of racing, have a happy holiday,I envy you both the trip to
Switzerland.I visited once and loved it.
I am happy to say that I appear to be over my injuries, raced a tough 5K road race last weekend, not in your league(only 29.58) but beat a few oldies who have ben beating me,so know it is only a matter of getting in the work.Blokes like you and Whitlock keep
me inspired enough to keep at it.

Thanks Ozbozo. Having run 14 races since my birthday in May (and won 12) I'm ready for a holiday, and Switzerland is one of the most beautiful places in the world to go and recharge.
5K is a tough racing distance as you can easily be lured into running faster than your optimal race pace with painful consequences. So well done.
If you're recovering from injury, don't overdo it. Just get out there and let it flow, sort of natural fartlek, running harder or faster as the spirit moves you, and keep the distance down. Whitlock is in a totally different league!
Cheers!

Awesome, nice one Mr Fox.

5K is always tough to work out the pace.
