Went to fat club last night and lost another lb but still 1.5lb away from breaking the 12 stone barrier. If I'm good I should do it but someone has brought mini cakes into work today and I've had 4 already

It's just a case of keeping in mind why you want to lose weight and the benefits of it.
The first week or the first few pounds are always the hardest because it still seems like you have a long way to go but once you get over that hurdle and start to feel and see the difference it sort of spurs you on.


I still advocate only having little treats (which includes little cakes SE ) as rewards. Exercise first and then have a small reward, which doesn't outweigh the burnt off calories.

Where I work the other staff are always bringing in donuts, cookies to die for, biscuits, sweets etc... but I just have to say no and leave them for everyone else

Keep going Nellie and SE... you'll do it!!

SWMBO lost 3 pounds yesterday..............








...the horse fell at the first!!


Actually she did lose 3lbs at her weigh in......meant I didn't suffer earache all night!

Having said I was going to lose some weight . . I've lost 4 pounds this week!!!

Down to 14st 5 . .

Just been eating sensible portions, checking the fat content of most of what I've bought, and not snacking . .

At this rate I might even be able to see my Speedos when we're on holiday!!!
