Eating on the Run
I'm starting to build up my long runs at the moment for my marathon at the end of October.
However, I'm not to sure about the use of energy gels/bars, as I usually only stick to "real" food.
What would you all suggest in the way of enery products? Also, how regularly would you use them in the course of your long runs/marathons?
Thanks
Grant

Hi Grant
I am in the same situation as you and the guys here have already given some advice. It's in the sub-Forum "Marathon".
I haven't experimented anything this time. I will try my next marathon without any solid intake.

SiS go gels are isotonic and you don't need to take them with water or you could try an energy drink. Bst to experiment to see what suits you best - some people like to ea jelly babies.
