OK, that's what you'd like to eat... but I'd imagine you to be a health-food advocate, as many other forumites have shown themselves to be. What do you really eat?

I've tried quorn in various shapes and forms, but I still don't really know what it tastes of!

Well I'm sure you all know that quorn is made from funghi right? Well did you know that that fungus is actually more closely related to the one that causes athletes foot than it is any "common" fruiting mushroom that we would actually eat?

I used to eat a lot of Quorn...

Anyway my top 10 foods (in no partciular order):

1 - brown pasta and rice
2 - spinach (raw in sandwhiches and wilted in pasta meals)
3 - bran flakes
4 - sweet potatoes
5 - dark dark chocolate
6 - kidney beans (...and other such beans)
7 - chicken
8 - almonds
9 - BROCOLLI and lots of it!!! (and other such veg)
10 - Bananas (and other such fruit, such as the beautiful braeburn apple)

I ate a lot of s**t, for loss of a better word, this weekend. Been sooooo hungry this week though, I couldn't take it anymore

You ate a lot of soot? You got some sort of carbon deficiency then?

... Seriously though, everybody seems to have such a healthy diet!
I only eat because I have to. If I could get away with not doing, I'd give it a go!
... And when I do eat, I wouldn't say it was actually healthily. But as I've said before, there must be some good in what I eat, or I wouldn't physically be able to run like I usually do.

That would have probably of tasted MORE. Dunno about better though...

Did anyone see that program a while back on channel 4 about people who only eat raw food (and drink their own piss)?! What a load of twaddle!! They were like "if you cook food it kills all the enzumes". Apologies, but unless the enzyme gets delivered in a capsule, it's not going to be working once it's got through the acid and proteases of the stomach. PLUS I did this for my Adv Chem project back in School... cooking lightly, like microwaving or steaming saves like 80-90% of your vitamins...

Anyhoo, /rant.
