Turkey Eggs

I have been buying turkey eggs the last week or so.

Larger than chicken eggs, about double size, great flavour.

Has anyone else had them?

How did you come about trying Turkey eggs then? Most interesting!

Are they particularly different in terms of taste? Obviously turkey is a leaner meat than chicken, but is there any nutritional benefit of turkey eggs over chicken eggs? Much difference in price?

Hi Richard

I pass a fruit & veg stall which sells eggs.
They sell turkey eggs at 30p each.

I'm a fussy eater, not to keen on trying new things but bought some eggs to try anyway.
They are whiter and have a nice flavour. Can't say I notice any difference in the taste though.

Nutritional benefits over chicken eggs i'm not sure.
I will try to find out.

Dean
