Protein shake timing

Can anyone please recommend how long after a run i should drink a protein shake. I'm interested in muscle recovery.

Most people would suggest taking the protein shake within the first half hour after the workout, followed by a proper meal within two hours of the workout.

Thanks Grant, must admit i've been waiting approx 2 hours on average. Hopefully i'll get some benefit from drinking straight within the first half hour.
