Wink pre race food

I have my first half marathon on Sunday, what sort of foods should I have in the couple of days prior to the race? I know pasta is the favourite, any other tips?

Bananas, potatoes, couscous, brown bread, quinoa, polenta, sweetcorn...

Anything that's on the Atins diet blacklist basically

Wholegrains n wholemeals are the way forwards... plenty of complex carbs to load up your glycogen stores.

Try to avoid very fatty meals as you approach the race and make sure you're sufficiently fuelled on race day - though don't try any new miracle recipes as you're stomach may well not appreciate it and get it's revenge come race time!
