I love hot fried egg sandwiches, especially if the yoke is a tiny bit runny so it soaks into the bread.
Peanut butter and jam is also nice

Wow, this thread has just reminded me of an old favourite sandwich that I haven't had for ages - time for it to be resurrected I think :
(Warning, it's slightly weird)
Turkey/turkey roll, raw spinach leaves, sliced gherkin (or a wally, as we used to call them) and . . . wait for it . . . mint jelly !
(told you it was weird).

Good point Steve.I thought it was just me.It has to be grated cheese and onion for me.(tastes even better when the missus makes it)
