It could be a real story because one of my teammates in HS crapped his pants in the mile. What was so bad is that he was not close to placing in the meet and he still finished the race with it coming down his legs and he did not throw away his shorts and underwear. He put them in his bag and brought them on the bus and it was the worst ride back. He got teased for the rest of his HS career. I would have pulled off the track and went to the bathroom. I had to do the deuce in a marathon and ran into a fast food place. Better than in my pants.

Others run to live, I live to run. I believe in fueling my urge, giving into my need for the run. I have an addiction but I do not have a problem. Running is my vice. I am here to seek the truth

Sorry, it's getting bumped to the top again, I find just about anything about PooP funny.

Call me immature, I don't care!

This is the first time I've seen this post and it's pretty damn funny, true or not! This has always been my biggest fear in a race, and I hate to say it but I've had a couple of close calls myself. I'm afraid someday I'll be posting a similar story....

well, if you had been at my race today, you would have come pretty close to seeing this in person.

it definitely belongs on the elite performance board -- i ran the sprint of my life from the finish line to the portapotties. i came within a few feet of infamy, that's for sure.

it's because i tried a new electrolyte drink this morning so i could review it on my website. I KNOW -- NEVER try something new on race day.

i haven't written the review yet -- still getting over the pain in my gut. but the gory details of the race are on my blog.

Hey it's me folks

Hey leave anony mouse alone.. even Paula Radcliffe had a Colin RAP live on television before going onto win the race!!!

Another guy and regular runner in NorthWest races used to projectile vomit several times during a race! In one race alone he managed to take out snow white and the seven dwarves AND seven runners dressed as a giant caterpillar. Running for a charity does have its hazards!!!

I am ashamed that this is my first post on this board. However,I must say that I have witnessed just such an event. Well, at least an old guy running the Disney Marathon (think it was '98) wearing white shorts and proudly displaying major skid marks on said shorts and running down his leg.

We were approaching the area near the Disney water treatment facility and began smelling an odor. (No problem, just a little of the backwaters of the Happiest Place on Earth.) Started seeing the sea of runners ahead of me parting and thought this must be my lucky day! I picked up the pace and noticed that the smell was getting stronger. (Well, I was breathing deeper.) Then I heard giggles and saw people pointing not so discretely at this older man. It was quite obvious from behind that the smell was coming from his behind.

He became my motivation to keep up my new pace. I swore the guy would not get upwind of me again! I beat my previous PR by 15 whole minutes!!!!

To this day when running with my 11 yo DD gets boring for her she asks me to tell the tale of "Papaw Poopie Pants".

My version hasn't needed much embellishment because it is a tale/tail of persistance in the face of terrible circumstances. The chafing must have been awful. His story has inspired us to do just 5 more minutes many times over.

Usually we end up needing to pee after my retelling of the tale but that's nothing compared to what our story's hero endured.

I don't know if OP is telling the truth but I have seen it happen!
