(Yet another revival here!... Well someone's gotta do it. )

Kefalonia again for us (last two weeks in August)... 8th or 9th time, not sure exactly. It's a great place to run, with a good variety of surfaces. From beach running to trails up in the hills. I used to train twice a day on holiday; but now I'm not as serious about it, it's only the once.

With regard to earlier posts about Croatia (Yugoslavia, "as-was"): I was there in '86 and also had the seemingly unavoidable encounters with the nudists. We weren't warned about this, so it came as a bit of a surprise, to my girl-friend and I, whilst out running, to come across a bloke strolling across the track in front of us wearing nothing but his shades. ... All his "bits" swaying gently in the breeze.

Well Im off to Moscow in 2 weeks - yay - tis in theory for research for uni but Im sure that the amount of work will be done will be negilable!! And looking at the average temperatures this time of year I think the amount of running will be even less - A poor excuse i know but Im a whimp who hates the cold!!! (maybe i should have considered that more when I was deciding what I wanted to study?!!!)

Then in August im back off to Morocco for 2/3 weeks (depending on how long my limited finances last!!)! Can hardly wait as it has to be one of my favourite countries Ive ever been to, though am a little concerned as I'm there "babysitting" my little sister on the first leg of her travellers, as much as I love her common sense is not something she was blessed with, so Im sure it'll be an experience!! Once again itll be a few weeks off the exercise - it gets exceptionally hot in summer! Though Im hoping Ill be able to drag myself out of bed early a few times at essaouira so i can go for a run along the seafront road, was one of my favourite things of my trip last time (though it was December then so no idea if itll be cool enough in August), getting up at the crack of dawn was not!!!

Oooh im getting all excited just thinking about it - I love getting away!!!
