Obviously I've got all my mistresses lined up.............
It'll be run, allotment, gym on both days I reckon.
If weather stays good I'll run on the beach too. We did our speed work session on the prom and on the beach last night.....I'm not too good on unstable surfaces like soft sand so such sessions are good for me in readiness for the cross country season.(Good for the injury too).

They didn't turn up!
I do indeed! Made Shepherd's Pie Saturday and all veg with it came from the allotment...spuds, onions, garlic, leaf beet, french beans and courgettes. Not bad eh...especially for a wet summer. Even had soft fruit off the plot for pud!
It's odd isn't it the way that folk generally seem to ignore their own locality....I've been here coming up to 3 years and only just started running on the beach. It is hard work but then again you can make it a good strength building session.

Your really good arnt you growing your own veg, iv always wanted to do that, as i live of veg as i dont really eat alot of meat. Maybe you can give me a few tips on trying to give it a go in my garden, and best things to start of with if you dont mind.
Im going down the beach for a quick one at lunch time and try the sand out.

Bit late in the season but you can still put some rows of "Cut and come again" mixed salad leaves....lots of variety and can be picked 3/4 times. Could also try carrots..try Flyaway variety( supposed to be resistant to carrot fly) and beetroot.
It might be a good idea to prepare an area for next year by digging it over and then digging in some well rotted manure....especially good for beans.
Off for a quickie eh?!
