better than a citroen 2cv dolly
I have a VW 07 Polo at the moment, but i have only washed her once since having her, people at work decide to write on the back of it.
I have had toooooooo many cars in three years.
|
OMG It is so not better than a 2CV!!!! my girlfriend had one called celeste and she loved it!
Still, it is probably better than my astra estate, the perenial problem with understeer has got to make it the worst car in the world. But the plus side is I can sleep in the back of it and have enough room to keep my bike on the front seats! Yeah i'd have it over your cheriton!

LOL! That car is actually a hairdryer on wheels cheriton!! Atleast you have a car though. I was going to buy a fiesta (sad, but good as a first car!) this month, but then I had to move house... so no monies Maybe at the end of the year. For now I can just catch a lift in my mates J reg MR2 which is actually insane - you can corner in it at like 40 mph without it even flinching! Unlike in a corsa, though I hired a new one recently and it was much improved! Sadly no Lambos for me! I am also a huge car fan (too bad I can't afford any!) and as soon as I'm old enough I am going to do some track-driving!! Too bad Top Gear isn't on at the mo - my sunday evenings are a lot duller!!
I'm disappointed that this forum hasn't just moved on to facebook - it would save me having to hide 2 windows when my boss saunters in to the office :P
I like your Golf leece! WANT ONE! Especially like the personalised number plate!
Richard: seeing as you design cars and stuff - if you design your own car you'll get rich!! Or atleast can design one for yourself... and don't worry about not having money, I'm a freakin' academic!! No money... EVER!

There are only some of the cars i had, i have had in the past three years.
VW Golf Diesel
MINI Cooper
MINI Cooper S
BMW Compact 3 series
Renaunt Clio 182
Golf GTI
MINI Cooper Convert
FIAT Sporting
Beetle
VW POLO
They take the mick out of me at work if i keep a car longer than two months they ask when i will exchange it as its old...
Cant help it just love cars
Hubby has had the same amount in three years also
Think the salesman sees us coming
Reason for GTI going is i work 26 miles away and the roads are slow ones, so not very good on petrol and it had to be 98 Unleaded also which is more expensive.. so i got a lovely little polly polo

Nothing wrong with a purple MG Twinks they are lovely cars.
My first owned car was a MG Metro oh i loved that car.
My shared car with my BF at the time was austin maestro that used to have a mind of its own, i used to stop somewhere and turn the engine off and it kept on running for ages, then go off then just come back on again... people would stare ha ha
It used to have a squeaky fan belt also.
Renault 25 was the best comfortable car i have driven lol..all i needed was a panama hat on the back shelf

hehe, my first car (mini) used to overrun terribly... I would be out the car and locking the door before it stopped! I think that was the third engine that did that

It's not a classic mini, it's a mini... how they get away with using such an iconic name for a small-med sized FWD BMW Hatchback I don't know!

Okay my life as a driver....
Car I passed my test in (mum's car):
My first car when I bought it:
And when I sold it (after spending my hard earned money and many a weekend working on it):
Oh and the metro I owned that supplied the last engine that I put in the mini:
.....
Damn maximum 5 attachments!

Then came my pride and joy...

Yes I was quite the boy racer
Then came Mr Sensible Car (or rather the first of my bangers!)
Then my next 205 GTi (a little more standard this time though!)
Which brings me up to today.... my Mighty Carina
Oh, and I did have a motorcross bike for a while, but never took it to a track, just blasted around the fields

Blimey... this is turning into a show and tell
Thanks styliko... I love her, she's called Saffi and she goes topless
As for previous cars.. my first car was a brown Vauxhall Viva, which I drove into the ground, well, I kind of didn't check the oil for a while...and being an old car it needed quite a lot... and the engine kind of crumpled up all by itself... quite spectacular as I recall
I then went to Mini's, and had a 1969 classic car Mini... I spent bundles on it getting it restored to concourse condition. I even belonged to the Mini Owners Club!
I've had lots of other cars, and a motorbike, but the most comfortable car I had (before Saffi of course) was a Renault Fuego... gorgeous car, so good to drive. Unfortunately it was written off by a daft old bint in a Volvo tank.. gutted I was
