Colleagues who persist in asking you to do basic work for them just because you're female (and therefore clearly inferior and there to do their bidding), and they can't be bothered to work out how to use their computers properly.

People who assume that just because you answer the phone you are therefore the receptionist. And worse, assume that you are, therefore, stupid and that they have the right to be utterly rude to you.

Stupid people
Rude people who don't think before they speak
The arrogant, which is probably a facade for being insecure

The punk who drives down my street at a ridiculous speed past my property (that was for you SlowSteve), most nights of the week.

People come on to forums and lay claim to having a great sense of humour but in reality are just irksome, no name mentioned.

On the contrary.

It's a pop at people who think receptionists are idiots.

And who think that I'm therefore an idiot because they think I'm a receptionist.

They're all arrogant twonks, whereas receptionists, in my experience, are generally a vastly more intelligent and pleasant bunch of people

And another thing.....

People that live in an area but make out that they live in the neighbouring one because they are close to it and it is deemed as more desirable.

People that speak French unnecessarily. e.g. michelin is pronounced as you see it and not meeshellan.
We are in Britain.Speak our language when you are here and don't try to "posh" yourself up by adding an accent to your words!!

People that change their birth name by replacing the original with a "y" or an "ie"etc.

e.g. Jane to Jayne. Again just to "posh it up".

[quote=bagpuddycat]People who stop right in front of the barrier in the tube/train station, while rummaging for their ticket. Either have your ticket ready before you get to the barrier, or at least have the good grace to stand to one side while you're rummaging for it. Gah!

People who step off the escalator and just stop. Not only inconsiderate but really pretty dangerous.

What is it with these fools, they drive me crazy too
