I just popped out to clear the shed and build some shelves and...

... Three pages later. Some interesting thoughts. I find myself engineering reasons to drive as it has finally become acceptable to not drink as long as you are taking everyone home at the end of the night. Obviously this is probably easier in more rural areas where public transport is conspicuous by its absence

I often volenteer to drive too Hrun, but this again show how grippy I am in that I refue to pay £60-£70 for a taxi home.

How much? Where do you live. I can drive to London for that and I live in Devon.

I can drive home for much much cheaper and that is my point I live about 30 miles south of Aberdeen and if anyone goes out it is usually in Aberdeen. Also Mrs Squint isn't too happy with my over nighting in a hotel (I think she thinks I'd get up too mischief).
