Well sometime swe do use it for the reason it's meant to be. That is to lubricate rotors before inserting them in to stators. These in turn are assembled to make a tool that is capable of oscilatiing a drill sting breaking axial friction, this in turn allows for extended reach in slide drilling, improved bit wear, increased ROP and massive reduction in stick slip.
