I think we are going to need to pass round a joint to chill everyone out!

I can see the vegetarians and vegans objecting to that, though .

Sod them, they're not normal anyway. Probably to busy loving a tree and hugging bunnies to worry what we are doing! So long as we don't try and improve the countries infrastructure they'll leave us be!

Troops on drugs?
so how about one gets a flash back on operational duties and kills his comrades?
Not so funny then eh?
Honestly, there's no such thing as a 'safe' drug.

Your being rediculous now Steepler, this was a one of test back in the 50's. I would like to think we could smile and giggle at how far we have come.

We call it Commando Humour, and Humility. All of which are Commando values.

I dont think anyone said that there was? There is certainly a misconception about drugs and their effects. Alcohol and tobbacco are two of the most dangerous drugs, alcohol actually does more "physical" damage than pure heroin...

I will reiterate, I do not advocate drug taking, I know how it destroys people..... but what also do not advocate is mis-informed people stating facts and thoughts without room for education....

I have seen lots of people destroy their lives and those of others through drug use and abuse. How come you are an expert Base813? Everything has risk, nothing is truly safe.
If you knew anything about LSD then you would know that flasbacks are a common side effect. Perhaps you could do some reading and increase your knowledge?
I'm sad that we are discussing this at all on a RUNNING website!

Why its a fair discussion, drug use.....we talk about boozing, by far a more damaging drug than LSD.
Granted its illeagal and im not condonig it.

But i wonder how much money the NHS wastes on Booze conpared to all drug abuse.

Well, there is a safe limit for alcohol. Drink in moderation and it will have little impact on health. However, people have been known to take lsd once and end up with serious psychosis.

Perhaps alcohol is more damaging as it is more widely available?
You can't nip down to Bottoms Up for a tab of LSD!

Im not denying the use of LSD is dangerous, nor condoming it.

Just think were over reacting slightly here.

In that case you shouldn't have posted it on a forum dedicated to fitness and general well being.
I don't think people are over reacting. Perhaps one of the moderators may like to step in here?
