Thanks for your thoughts.... a couple of things that stick out:
Speedwings are basically highly loaded high performance ellipitcal canopies made from kite material or ZP... it is very much possible to make turns using harness shifts in weight, and making turns close to the ground can be trouble when flying 3 dimensional hills close to the ground! :eek: My friends double compound femur and double compound tib and fib are proof to that! :eek:
Not sure I like the idea of keeping the board attached, certainly in skysurfing you have a cutaway system, and actually the more I think about it, the more I think that catching these boards without a really really decent release system and being on a high performance canopy, the more I see my tib and fib shattering once again...
No wonder the Euros keep it to snow!
Seems a good project if the time and money was available......... but I dont have the money so maybe a back burner idea until situations change....
