I'd pay off the debt. I really hate the idea of being in debt, which is why I avoid it and make paying off debt a first priority. To me, if I have any debt at all, any money I have is certainly *not* "disposable income"

An extra £700 to spend, I wouldn't have to worry about how to spend it Mrs Squint would have already taken care of that.
