I don't dislike it, I just don't get it. I think it stems from wearing glasses since I was 10. Once on the pitch and sans specs I might as well have not been there.

I needed a hug this week... but the closest I got was by giving hugs to my kids

I lost one of my pet rats this week... he had surgery the previous week and was doing fine until Tuesday. Then he had a relapse, took him to the vet, he had a couple of injections and then it was a case of 'wait and see'. I was up all night with him Tuesday night, took him back to the vet Wednesday and the choices were put him through a whole load or tests and treatment with only a 20 -30% chance of him making it through, or to let him go.

It was a heartbreaking decision to make, but I couldn't watch him suffer anymore

I always thought the second one was for AM.


It went very well there were only minor injuries sustained at the party so that was good, and everyone had a good time eating too many sweets too much chocolate playing drums and running round (sometimes all at the same time). Though Squint junior decided that the morning of her party would be the best time to fall down the stairs for the first time. Fortunatly the Grandfather clock halfway down stopped her falling all the way to the bottom. Woops

Hope the grandfather clock is ok, kids tend to bounce

Yeah clock is fine it's a sturdy thing.

There is/was plenty cake left but we left it at the in-laws and there is a crowd of women going there today so chances are there will be none now. Trin my Mother in laws place is open to the public she might let you have some of the cake if you pop round!

Oh my god just read that back how bad does it sound on my part, makes it seem like I am some sort of toff married to the gentry.

Couldn't be further from the case, grandfather clock is my ladnlords and my Mother in law is an artist and her studio is in part of their house.
