I remember years ago (probs from the early 90s) I'd watch the start as it seemed almost inevitable that there'd be at least one crash. lol, then I bugger off to play outside and ask my dad who'd won afterwards.

The races can be dull at times, and the wet races are SO much more interesting, both in terms of driving and race tactics.

Agreed I think it is a joke that Hamilton was stripped of the win and who decides the 25 seconds??? some jumped up no mark that probably hasn't even driven an F1 car in the first place...

Dont get mad get even

Is that possible though?! Seemingly not!

I too thought the 25seconds was a joke... I personally don't think he gained ANYTHING in cutting that corner (other than not being wiped out of the race completely by Raikonnen), but he certainly didn't gain 25 seconds! I can only assume that was based on the fact that it would take around 25 seconds for him to serve a drive through penalty?

Lewis is still a bit naive when it comes to certain things. He needed to take evasive action to aviod Raikononen, but he shouldn't have then tried to take him straight away on the next corner, after barely letting him pass again. Harsh penalty, but cutting corners is a big no no in F1 and if he'd cooled his jets a bit and stayed behind Kimi for a few corners and then attacked him again, i don't think any action would have been taken.

Mclaren are certainly not a popular team with the FIA though, i can't imagine Ferrari being dealt with like this. Massa cut someone up in the pit lane at the last GP in Valencia and no sanctions were brought against him

I think you're right cheeks, but I believe the 25 secs was devised by Ferrari, I mean FIA, to ensure that he didin't win. It would have been interesting to see what the penalty would have been had Hamilton won by say a minute & 25 secs!

It really annoys me, cos didn't he take his lead over massa from a couple of seconds up to 14secs by the finish line? and undoubtedly he could've managed a bit faster if he'd really pushed it, and I reckon he could've made up the other 11secs!

Cheeks, you'r right, if he'd left it for a few corners it'd have been fine - I just wish they'd clarify exactly what they mean by saying he gained an unfair advantage? I heard a mention of him carrying more momentum out the corner - but how could he be deemed to have more momentum when Kimi came back past him again???
