I really hope the world doesnt end Wednesday... but will try very hard at running club tomorrow night if its the last one
The German market will be in Birmingham soon, so that means Glu wein!!!!!!
Where is the cheese festival!???? Much more sensible - eating cheese, rather than running after an old crusty one down a steep hill!! (Rushes off to find Shropshire Blue in fridge!!)

We'll be fine.
Time warps in proximity to immensely massive objects like black holes. Even if we were to be sucked in it would take ( from our perspective) millions of years, while externally it would take a fraction of a second. Downside is that it would take a few million years for even Bolt to run 100m. *
Why could they not do it on Saturday - millions of years of a weekend
*please note I am not a physicist, merely an avid star trek buff. If the universe ends on Wednesday I cannot be held liable, sued or otherwise made to feel bad about the situation

If not, then its back to work as normal on Thursday :-)

OK, you start this thread, and for those familiar with sci-fi terminology what these scientists might be about to create on wednesday is a 'singularity' (A black hole in the Extropian worldview whose gravity is so intense that no light can be shed on what lies beyond it). hmmmmm, are you a plant here to soften us up for our impending doom
