The Federer Thread

Thought it would be nice to have a thread for any Federer fans to bask in his pure wonderfulness. Amazing US Open result. Glad he has proved wrong the idiots that have been claiming he is finished. He is nowhere near finished and is, indeed a tennis God. You have to respect the sheer skill and athleticism of the guy, as well as his ability to keep his head focused on the job. He is the best there has ever been, and I will challenge anyone who says otherwise. Murray did well in the championship, but he has a lot of improvements to make before he can seriously challenge for Grand Slams. Bring on the Australian Open

Good effort from Murray, but he was outplayed... He'll just have to go home with his measly $500,000 cheque instead - poor sod

It was $1,000,000 from what I heard! 750 for runner up and a 250k bonus

Glad Federer is back - a bridge too far for Murray this time, but who knows if he keeps improving.

Murray will win a grand slam i think, he has shown he is good enough by beating Nadal on the way to the final and winning a Masters title in Cincinatti earlier this summer. Federer was just brilliant in the final though, don't think anyone can beat him when he plays like that.
