Friday's Question

Fortunately this was not copyrighted as a question so I've " borrowed" it from a friend....

What was the last film you saw at the cinema?

In addition...how much did the visit to the cinema cost you...taking into account the car parking, ticket, sweets, drink, popcorn....and was there someone in the cinema who failed to switch his/her damn mobile off?!

hmmmmmm... what was it I went to see? Something fairly light hearted I seem to remember.

Parking free, ticket's around £5.50 each, no popcorn, just a chemical enhanced 'Tango Blast' (A sherberty/fizzy type of iced slush drink - bloody tasty! [if you like sugar/chemicals]) costs about £3.50... so around £15 for the pair of us. Sometimes we'll nip to Tesco beforehand to bet some sweets/chocs, but try not to

I love going to the cinema, just watching a film, huge screen, awesome sound, sitting back and just relaxing

Still can't remember what I went to see though

Kung Fu Panda (daughters birthday - honest!! )

All in all for the 4 of us including meal beforehand and required in-movie snacks etc., I seem to remember being vaguely aware of it pushing up towards the 3 figure mark

No mobile phones (thankfully for the sake of my continued liberty!) although some kind lady decided to bring her new born baby, and spent the entire film getting up and down everytime it started crying

I think it was last year, and HE made me go and see DIE HARD the last one... it was just before we went into see justin timberlake in concert at the O2 Arena was actually quite good.

Think it cost about £30 in all with drinks and box of pop corn

Hmmm...the latest batman was my last cinema visit too, I think. Tickets are stoopid money. £7.50 each.
I take my own water but buy popcorn occasionally.
Parked at the then boyfriend's house so didn't have to pay for that. Though that will have changed now as we split up 3 weeks ago. Hmph!
Running is the only thing that makes me feel good at the moment and this site keeps me from moping around the house. Thanks guys!!

Am loving this question a day thing....excellent!

It was x-files 2, a while back now. £4.50, no parking as I took the bus, tap water in a used bottle, and half a packet of bargain biscuits from Morrisons (39p).

No mobiles, as I went in the afternoon and had the entire auditorium to myself so sat right in the middle and enjoyed

Elegy, about three weeks ago. It cost £2.50 to get in (including cup of tea and biscuit) as OH and I have cottoned on to pensioners' showing (Bradford Pictureville, 11.00am each Thursday, in case anyone's interested). The joys of self-employment! Even taking the petrol into account, that's cheaper than Harrogate Odeon at about £7.50, and which only shows mainstream crap anyway. We parked on-street for free. Usually try and make it there once every couple of months- depends on workload!
