So QVC have a Blu-ray player on, normal price £242.00, special value price £199.92

Samsung salesman says "I've been down the local high street, I couldn't find it cheaper than this. Check the internet"

So I did.

At this time the cheapest is £155 and there are 21 at the same or less price.

Now I grant that you might get a crappy vendor, and I haven't included postage, and that you don't get the two free discs (which you might not want, and cost about £15 each which still comes to only £185), but I found it amusing how easily I could find it so much cheaper.

And most vendors beat QVC's normal price too.

I am amused.

richer sounds have a samsung atm for about £159

A friend of my in-laws was approached by a shopping channel to sell some of his stuff. They tried to tell him how much to sell for and that they would take x amount of stock and x cut of the sales and that it would take months for his cut to arrive. He told them to stick it.

I'd rather just buy a PS3
