The Mighty Mr Gordon Ramsay, how could you leave him off the list? He's 'one of us' too!

Of those you've named, I love watching Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall because he gets so involved with where the food comes from, and Jamie Oliver has a pretty damn impressive garden

Many of the others just annoy me, and some I'd never consider as chefs - TV cooks perhaps Nigella is strangely appealing

Yes that's true- Gordon for me, too, if I'm allowed to vote for him as well as Nigella! Oh- and Nigel Slater.

Maybe tomorrow's question could be "who's your least favourite TV chef", cos there's at least one of the above I'd like to strap to the underside of my car and take for a drive down a gravel path...
