Well, the deed is done, and I'm entered. I'm entry number 954 (I presume that will be my race number). That's quite a nice sounding number (she said, being momentarily silly and superstitious). I'll wear my Runnersforum vest.

mmmm...i've lost mine on a run before so now i just do the old fashioned thing and stick it under the doormat.....i'm a devotee of camel packs for longer runs....i hate carrying a bottle in one hand

FAVOURITE ITEM has got to be my pink ipod shuffle!! clips on to my trousers or top so im hands free! ideal - love it!

My battered old MP3 player (when it breaks I might well end up with an iPod shuffle), closely followed by my Saucony fuel belt on long runs (looks like Batman's utility belt, but more convenient than a camelback for me)

I might get a Garmin in the near future, not sure where that would slot in
