Virgin Runner

I ordered a new pair of shoes from Virgin Runner yesterday, £20 cheaper than anywhere else for a 2006 shoe. Nowhere else came close on price.

I'll let you all know if they're any good.

Well I'm impressed. I ordered a pair of 2006 Saucony 3D Grid Triumphs which I've had 3 pairs of in their previous incarnations. A nice neutral cushioning shoe for anyone who's interested.

I ordered on the 21st, and the shoes shipped on the 23rd and arrived this morning. Like I mentioned before these shoes retail for £79.99 and that was the cheapest I could find anywhere. Virgin Runner had them for £59.99 + £2.50 postage. As we discussed before they're a trading name for Up & Running

Shame that we are all looking for the cheapest option and not supporting our local running shops! How long can VR sustain those prices I wonder?

I understand your point but my local running shop didn't have these in stock.

They can't be making much on the pair I bought, maybe they're a loss leader.
