Clubs Directory

I've added a clubs directory to the forum:

http://www.runnersforum.co.uk/clubs.php

I've obtained the data from a variety of sources, I'd be grateful if you could check out the clubs in your local area and let me know if there are any errors and/or ommissions.

Also, any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Dan

What a great resource! Thanks Dan

Just a minor thing.... Avon doesn't actually exist anymore, Bristol is just Bristol and I would imagine the same goes for Bath.

Thanks Trinity, I'll check that out and get it updated.

Anyone else found any errors?

Cheers,

Dan

Good one Dan, the club I am a member of Long Eaton Running Club is down as being in the county of "East Midlands".

Which meant as I was searching for it by county I couldn't find it, I could only find it by doing a free text search. Would it be possible to put Long Eaton into Derbyshire (and as the town is right on the border it might be worth also putting it into Nottinghamshire, to ensure those Nottingham clubs don't get a monopoly on members that could only be based 2 miles from the club but in a different county!). Same goes for Erewash Valley RC too.

Thanks Hammerite, I've moved Lomg Eaton and Erewash into Derbyshire. Good point about clubs on county borders, I'll have to change the code in order to accomodate for that.

I've just been looking into this Trinity, could Bristol be classed as Gloucestershire?

Sorry but this is something that isn't your fault most things come up with it.

The County of Clwyd no longer exists. Hasn't for years. Denbighshire is what it is now. And maybe Flintshire as well I'm not sure how big Clwyd was.

Anyway there is also an athletic club in Prestatyn. I'll try to get the details for you.

I think I'll create two new counties for Bath and Bristol.

Hertford and Ware and Verlea AC combined to form Herts Phoenix AC so those two don't exist any more.
