I do. It just seems like I don't.

I don't work regular office hours, I work at unpredicted hours of the day. I might be on at any hour. So long as I get my weekly hours done Dan doesn't mind.

Just as an update this is still on my list. There are a few scripts kicking around that use the Nike+ api so I should hopefully be able to adapt one at some point this month.

I signed up to nike+ but I'm rather struggling.

It seems you can't enter runs manually, only via ipod/other gadgetary. Is there any way to manually enter them?

I am not aware that you can upload runs directly to Nike other than by the gadgets. You can however upload to slowgeek which captures Nike data.

I've successfully made contact with Nike+

They are a friendly race and we have exchanged gifts.

If possible I'd like some more nike+ usernames/passwords just to do some more testing and make sure I've gathered all the data I can.

This guy has written a nice class to handle talking to Nike servers. The curious can see the source code here

I have access to:
basic data, such as total distance, duration, number of runs.
each run, start time, distance, duration, calories
challenges and goals. Though I've not explored those (yet?)

What I shall do is write a script that updates from everyone's nike stats periodically, perhaps every hour.
This site's training blog currently works out your mileage this week and this year, so I'll have nike+ stats do the same and put it in the same place on posts.
Training blog integration (that is, data about your runs) will be written when the training blog is improved.

This isn't a big job though storing the data may be a bit fiddly, so perhaps a couple of days or so.

Ta-daaa..

Partial Nike+ integration is now working. To add your nike+ account, go to the bottom of the edit options page and stick your login details in.

The stats are updated 5 mins past every even numbered hour (i.e. midnight:05, 2:05am, 4:05am -> 8:05pm, 10:05pm). There is currently no manual update. During the update process stats will temporarily disappear.

If your nike+ account is marked as private, it won't be shown here at all.


I'm having a spot of trouble with the info bit (the bit with your username, avatar etc above each post) for people with a training blog and a nike+ account. The text on the right is rather long. Suggestions are welcome.
