I've done it a few times on map my run, you can save the routes anonymously, though if I were to make it public I tend to just start the route from round the corner at the local gym.

More often than not I will mark out my route and once seeing any detail I'm interested in I'd just close the window without saving it.

I have to agree,my blog is mine. PM me if you need to comment. Likewise I wouldn't publish my routes. I don't want people to know in advance where I am going to be.

You don't have to make your blog public though do you - Fetch allow you to publish your routes and you have the option to keep them private or public.

Upon a suggestion from Richard, I've put your 2008 miles in the infobit above your posts, next to the other info.

It's not great I know, and the stats for training stuff is lacking, but that'll all be addressed when (oh please hopefully) get around to the training blog

On the weather aspect - maybe an option to choose what the temp was at the time of the run (not that everyone will know it though), but could be used as a rough guide, as 10 miles in 10 celcius is different from 10 miles in 25 celcius!

I should be ok - I only joined on 20th August, so less than half a year to beat

Since I got my Garmin on July 31st, 2008 I have run a total of 787.33 miles (94 hours and 32 seconds with an average pace of 7:12). I'm so glad I bought a Garmin

That's a good idea. I can knock something like that up on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis. People who hide their profile won't be included and I might include a "opt out of stats" option too. Should be fairly quick to do (famous last words) so maybe within a few days.

Temperature is a good idea.
