Hi all,
Now that I am upping my distance to about 11 miles I need to find a local route in fife. Is there anyone here that runs in the Dunfermline area who could tell me some good long distance routes?

Well, just in case someone else reads this who is fife based.

Ive started to run the fife costal path from Inverkeithing out to Dalgety bay and then on to Aberdour. Brilliant run and no traffic so no car fumes! The route from Inverkeithing to Dalgety bay has now been paved as well so its much easier to run on rather than loose stones.

check out mapmyrun and search google for a few other similar sites... people upload their routes and they can be searched for by the public... worth seeing if there's any near you that you can adapt a little?

Ive been using mapmyrun for a while now, the problem with fife is the detail isnt great so not many people have added an entry.

There are 3 runs for my area and one of them was put on by me

I will keep on looking I think I will keep to the fife coastal / bicycle routes and see how far I can go....might even look at creating some new routes and posting them on mapmyrun.
