Well done to you both!! superb improvements all round! Owain, that's a comfy sub 2hr in my opinion - you are doing so well but you deserve it for all the effort you've put in these last few months. Momorris, that's a massive leap from your previous time - I'm sure your aim for a sub 2hr is just round the corner. I would definitely leave the ipod at home next time

Thats nasty being taken round the shops after running all that way, did you need to get the shuttle bus or was the good lady waiting for you?

Ended up taking a lift back to the car, couldnt be bothered with the bus.

Took the shuttle bus to the car, probably better you didnt take it the driver got lost. Then had to park at the shopping centre. She even had the nerve to moan about how much her feet ached. I just smiled at that.

Thanks for words of encouragement Rob. It was a bit disheartening coming close and seeing where I lost it but that has quickly been replaced by the finishing high.

Im hoping to go to Jedburgh for the 1/2 Marathon there in October but I dont think I have anything else planned til then, might try and find some 10k runs as I have never ran that distance in a race, would be interesting to see how my pace changes.
