I have no idea Steve... I think the thread has meandered off course somewhat...

But while we are off course, I have to share this with you...

I was in Ravel shoe shop today trying to find some shoes to go with what I'm wearing to a wedding on Saturday (they have a sale on you know )

Then this bloke comes up to me...complete stranger...
and says, "Excuse me"
I say "yes"
and he says (exact words) "can I just say that you look absolutely gorgeous"

so I look behind me to see if he's talking to someone else and there's no one there, so I smiled and said "thank you"

then he said "are you married?"
so I said "kind of"
and he replied with "well he's very lucky because you are absolutely gorgeous"
I smiled again (what else can a girl do) and said "thank you" (again)

He smiled back and walked off.

This couldn't have happened on a more appropriate day, because I have been really down with everything that's been going on, (some of which I haven't told to many, including you guys because it's too long a story), but especially today, it's been difficult to hold back tears on more than one occasion.

Consequently I haven't liked what I've seen in the mirror, so for a complete stranger to come up to me and say that... makes me think that maybe he was 'sent'

Go girl trin- good on you, i think us women always need something like this to pick us up. My marriage hasnt been that solid for a while and i meet my friends brother who later said he thought i was dead hot and fit!!! Not sure i believed him, then he said he was up for an affair with me if i wanted.
No, i didnt take him up on his offer, but its nice to know im attractive to other men sometimes, a pick me up i think ill call it.

I might try that next time I see a hot girl!
