Which Socks Do You Use?

Hello,
I use synthetic, has anyone tried SmartWool running socks? Any opinions? Are they thin? I've read some amazing things about Smartwool on this website: wool-socks.info , besides, it's 100% natural: wool and wax.

At the moment I use X-Socks (the 'Run sky run' ones). Hardly cheap but you can't get any more comfortable! I also used another make which was also very comfy but can't think what they're called

Socks, socks, socks!

We all seem to have a one track mind on here!

I use the moremile london sock; I don't know how they compare with other running socks because they're the only ones I've used but I have no complaints and they are an improvement on what I was wearing; they were recommended to me by someone I met at the only time I went to a running club, before I went over on my ankle and before the cold weather set in.

I have some Nike socks which i forget the EXACT name of, but they have cushioning bits around the heel and ball, but mostly for shorter runs I just wear good ol' trainer socks from Tescos, and have never ever had any problems at all - except when I don't wear them and get blisters :P

Nothing special for me; just ordinary Nike "Crew" socks. Get 'em in packs of 3 pairs. Either in black or white (although the white ones rarely stay white for long when I get off-road!).Name: BigThumbUp.gif

Smartwool socks are great. You can get very thin to thick styles. I also like injinjii but they take a lillte getting use too.

yep, Aldi for me too. You're right Steve...their spring running kit must be in soon, I remember you got me those socks and I picked them up from you at FLM expo.

Also Asics socks are good... you get a free pair from some websites when you order Asics runners
