Asics Gel Nimbus 9

Hi there,

I'm currently training in Adidas response cushion, but the time has come to trade them in. Whilst I’ve been pretty happy with them, I’ve heard great things about the Asics Gel Nimbus 9s, so I’ve thought i might try them out.

I'm a supinator so i know as a shoe they 'should' work for me.

My questions is , does it make any difference whether you get the 2007s autumn/winter shoe or 2008 spring/summer shoe? Cost wise the 2008 shoe is about £20 more and doesn't look as nice the 2007 version (I know you really shouldn’t pick shoes on aesthetics!)

I'm running the Paris marathon in about 6 weeks and I’d be interested to hear people’s opinions on changing the type of shoe you run in before a marathon.

Thanks a lot for you help

No, the difference is cosmetic only - they are the same shoe
