I wear Brooks Addiction 7 as prescribed to me by a specialist running shop. I over-pronate too and had all sorts of probs and crippling shin splints until I started wearing these. the best money you will ever spend. Avoid JJB, Sports factory Outlet, Allsports etc - I used to think I was getting a bargain paying £14 for a pair of Puma to run in!

Hi

I'm a very heavy runner, 20st+, I was told to visit a running shop, which I did and they were really good, I was advised to try on the tread mill New Balance, Brooks and Asics. Nike I was told tend to be for the lighter runner and can be very good but don't last with my weight.

The key to running overweight is to use incerts and to change your trainers more regulary than normal.

I over Pronate very slightly, and I chosen Asics Nimbus 9 and Brooks GTS.

Both have so far been very good.

Peter
