great south run!!

Hi i know its a long way off but i wanted to know if any one might be doing or has done the popular great soth run this year?

I've been thinking of doing this. it's just near where my dad lives, so though might combine with a week away near the seaside

And cos 10 miles doesn't sound nearly as far as 13.1!

Same here my sister works lives hampshire during the week so if i travel down ill stay there for a few days too

I'll be there this year, did it in 06 and had a great experience. Friendly atmosphere and flat course - looking forward to it

Did it a few years ago when I lived down there. Great run and if I can remember correctly theres a section where if its winding its a killer if its against you. Along the seafront in Southsea ?

Sounds familiar yea... we were pelted with wind and rain for the last mile or so on the sea front, just when you're hoping for a nice, steady finish!
