I want to be closer to my family - I'm splitting up from my husband. I've got some time to kill between interviews so I've popped into an internet cafe. First interview was awful not sure I did very well. Second was better but a job would need to be created for me and they need to decide if they have the budgets.

How did the interviews go SE? Will you soon be moving to the frozen north?

Not good I've had two rejections, one maybe if they can find me some work and one we're still waiting on some feedback but that was my worst interview so I'm not particularly hopeful.

I've got an nterview in Derby next week and I've submitted applications to Cumbria and Wakefield for similar jobs.

I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment.

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time at the moment.

Hope everything works out for you soon and good luck with the job hunting/interviews.

I know how you feel. After I was made redundant in the eighties I had lots of interviews but nothing came of them and I couldn't get any work under Maggie's regime. As a result my marriage broke up and it was all very depressing, and probably gave me an inferiority complex.
Then I took up running (as an alternative to work), radically altered my life-style (even go to Church again now!) and met my new partner. And do you know something - I've never been happier in all my life. So cheer up SE, all that doom and depression can be the prelude to the dawning of a wonderful new life.
Cheers!

How perfectly put Foxy!

SE you never know what is around that corner, so you had one crappy interview you probably wouldn't have liked them anyway, this will only make you better for your subsequent interviews and you will find something you really like. Keep that great focus you have for running and use it in your interviews GOOD LUCK TT

Thanks guys for all your support.

Foxy I keep clinging to the hope that this could an exciting and positive new start for me just sometimes I just indulge in a little self pity and home as been a little tense over the last couple of days probably because there was an expectation that I would be moving on soon.
