ran a full mile today, flat out, gave it everything (though perhaps paced it a bit badly)

Lap 1 - 408m - 1:12.94 (4:48/mi)
Lap 2 - 400m - 1:16.70 (5:09/mi)
Lap 3 - 400m - 1:18.82 (5:17/mi)
Lap 4 - 400m - 1:13.68 (4:56/mi)
Bit gutted I didn't break 5mins, so I'll try again when it's a little more dry and i'm a bit more rested.

My fastest mile was a spectacular 7.15
I ran it in December last year and managed to injure myself in the process badly enough that I didn't run again for about 3 months 
Needless to say I won't be attempting to break it for a while!

Attended the 'Fetch mile' race at Palmer Park stadium yesterday, and I was paced to a new PB!
It is now.... *drum roll* .....
5.54 !!!!!!!!!
So that took 31 seconds off my previous time... and it was 6 days since running Hastings marathon!

mine is 4:52. ran it a few months ago, I did not feel that good after the race, but I won it and I guess that was the most important thing back then.
