Don't worry Amybird, this happens all the time!

... Sometimes the thread even manages to meander back to it's original subject too!

So like... I've developed a new type of stretching... called "wasting time in the lab" and generally... what you have to do is be in a lab, waiting forever for things to happen, and get very bored... bored enough to see how many different stretches you can do using lab furniture/equipment as an aid... before some asks you what on earth you're doing. This also works when procrastinating.

There... back on topic. Sort of. :P

So now it's "lab furniture", is it?!

If it's not Mr. Octopus, it's the furniture!

(You DO wear clothes for the lab stretching, don't you ?).

Naked stretching whilst eating pancakes (hmmmm...paaancaaakes...) with Mr. Octopus... incorporating any handy items of furniture as an "aid" (?).

It's a good life experience to be confused sometimes.

I wear atleast a lab coat... now that I was told off by the technician for not wearing it that is. This is over clothes of course before you all get too excited.

And lab furniture, like chairs... benches... incubators.

My Octopus can be involved, but he lives at home, and unfortunately it's bad health and safety to be eating in the lab seeing as we have so many carcinogenic/toxic chemicals kicking about, as well as several strains of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

I can't believe I missed the pancake thread... cunningly disguised as it was!

I had 4 crepes on Monday
But only because I cooked a meal for Rich and as he was working away on Tuesday, he would miss out otherwise

Then on pancake day I made some for the kids, and I had 2 savoury with a mix of winter vegs and sauce in them, and 2 sweet, each containing half a banana with some choc sauce, rolled up and then toffee yogurt poured on top.
I like to call it my Banoffee Surprise
