I seem to be hovering around the 12st 7lb mark, but have been more like 12st 10lb'ish for the past week or so... i'm 5'10"-5'11" (i'll measure myself properly one day!).
9st would almost certainly be too skinny for me, 10.5st would be perfect for performance.
I too have plenty of people telling me I don't need to lose any more weight, though firstly they don't seem to appreciate that it's slowing me down - that I want to lose weight for performance, not because I feel bad about how I look! ...Secondly - as society as a whole becomes fatter and fatter, the perception of normal is changing - and people see slightly overweight people as being more healthy than those who are lighter/skinnier, but in fact a much healthier weight!
My partner was having a chat with work colleagues about a member of staff who'd either let herself go a little, or lost some weight (I can't remember which, but would imagine it was the former), and my missus was quite bold and said something to the effect of "but i'd imagine she'd still be classed as being obese" - the response from teh group was that my OH clearly hadn't got a clue about health etc and was being incredibly harsh, and that the woman in question was "a little overweight at worst". I've since seen said woman, and I'm sorry, but she'd
blatently be classed as obese based on BMI! I often think Joe Public needs a bloody wake up call to what is/isn't healthy
