Well tonight was great. I hadnt been out since the 1/2 Marathon on Sunday so decided to go for an hours run, but change the route a bit and throw in some steep hills.

Well, headed out, legs like lead but they soon eased up. Hit the first hill and cruised up it, was suprised how easy I found it, then went down the other side just to hit another hill, cruised up that as well, now I was getting worried! Hills arent meant to be easy....anyway, 30mins in I turned around and headed back but since the down hills were pretty long and steep I thought I would go up them on the way back, took the pace down a notch but still managed up them.
Got home and looked at my GPS, 7.03miles in 59.38 mins My best pace yet and I for the first time since I started running, I can actually say, I was running....not jogging (well for me anyway)

A couple of days rest seems to have done my legs wonders and actually made them stronger after the 1/2 marathon.......really looking forward to getting out again and running.
I've found that after a race I hit a bit of a low for some reason but tonights run really gave me the buzz for running again

O.
