Today was a tough run! The heat and lack of wind was horrible. Ended up doing 10.27 miles in 1hr 39min. I think my hill run yesterday took its toll on my legs as well.
Hoping to do another 8 miler tomorrow over the forth road bridge Will see if I can get some photos.

Hi all

Quite happy with myself this weekend.

Did a 7.5k on Friday and Saturday and managed a 10.5k this Sunday morning.....all without stopping

I think I may have a trapped nerve down my right hip area. OK when running and walking but when I sit down I can hardly get up!

Could be old age though

Cheers

Gary

Great runs Gary.

I ended up head out over the forth road bridge yesterday and ran to my g/f's work which is 7miles away. Didnt think anything about it but when I got to her work the back of my neck was burnt from the sun! I was only out for an hour but the heat was too much and I had to walk some of it, which for me was really annoying since I know I can do this distance without a stop quite easily.
I looked around the shop that Judith works at and the number of people who obviously didnt realise how strong the sun was was scary...they had been sitting outside for the best part of 2 hours and they looked pink! They will regret it today!
Having a day off today though since Ive done 23miles in the last 3 days and I have my first meeting with the new running club tomorrow night so want to have fresh legs for that

O.

Anyone suggested looking up a route on Good Run Guide: Guides to running routes and runners training tools you can measure your route and use the site for all sorts training stuff. I logged a route yesterday which ended up 9.48 km and got back in 40.21 which is better than my old route so very happy with that.
