hi,all how u doing.
just put in an hours run, mostly uphill, and guess what i broke my usual pace
i put in a few 'bursts' up hill.finished my run 10 mins quicker too.
putting in a bit of speed was great.mind you it killed my knees coming back down.
cheers all,
andy.

Well done.

But don't expect to improve every time. You will have times when you seem to be going backwards ( getting slower instead of faster ). Don't bother to much about time, and don't push yourself hard every run.
I did a slow 2.5 mile today. One of those days when I just couldn't get going, but some time this week ( at least once ), I shall do a long run and maybe a quicky.
