Back in 1993, the World Triathlon Champs were held in Horwich.

As a canoeist I was the lead canoe that lead all the swimmers round!
I had to make sure everyone went the right way & that they were ok!
The whole town was shut to traffic & we had to stay in a sports hall overnight.

I didn't have Sky Tv, (Still don't.....) but a mate videoed it & you could see me on the telly!!
