Ultrarunner Issue 5 - Now available online

Hi all.... I OK'd this with our illustrious admin after I happened across this lovely green and blue place

Ultrarunner Issue 5

Plenty of race reports to read, although only Colin Watts' solo jaunt round the Pembrokeshire coast path takes place in these shores! The remaining reports cover a spectacular looking 100km in Mongolia of all places, William Sichel topping off an impressive year with an impressive 6 day performance and one man's bet that resulted in his one man trek across the states.

In race previews, Ambition Event's Rory Coleman gives an insight into the organisation and their ever increasing portfolio of ultra events and we bring news of a new off road 24 hour challenge from clic 24.

I'm always surprised to find how well read many ultra runners are, not sure how they find the time, or the books! Ben Scott reviews “Running Through the Wall”, a collection of ultra running tales from various runners.

Ed

Thought I would just say (a bit late) that the review of Running Through the Wall made me go back and look at the book again. I abandoned it first time part way through chapter two. Second time I persevered and found it interesting and helpful for my build-up towards the Addo Elephant Park 100mile Trail Run on 2nd May.
