That's a crazy amount of entries for such a long race. Just goes to show how many ultra-nutters there are out there.

Trinity....
I am a new member of the forum and only been running for 18 months, i too got into the comrades marathon which is all part of a years worth of charity runs i am doing.....i completed the dublin marathon in 4hrs 42 which to be honest was quite easy as i adopted the run walk scheme after 30k.....and knew i had to completed it in under 5hrs for comrades...
Any training tips you can pass on oh and i am look at booking up the hilton in durban.....who did you end up booking your flight with and what sort of deal did you get???? there is a flight i am looking at from heathrow with south african airlines which is £750 to durban inclusive....
