If/when a date has been set, it'll be on the homepage of the website. Though I'd imagine thoughts are more on the Half Marathon in October atm.

For the half... Would love to run it... though the club believes if I can run, then I can marshall, lol. So I'll either be marshalling or not there (there's a chance I'll be on an advanced motorists course ).
The draycote races... hmmmmmmm, I wouldn't imagine they wouldn't need quite as many marshalls, I certainly wouldn't be doing the ultra, I could contemplate the marathon but it just depends where I decide to focus my training efforts I guess - and at the moment the shorter distances are working a lot better for me!

my greatest moment at draycote was being caught by a marathoner... letting him pace me for a lap.. stopping for a drink & food.. catching him again.. letting him pace me for a lap.... and then having to pass him the following lap as he faded

Yer. ATM I can't even run. As trin said I have time to go for a 1/2 next year. Need to manage a 10k first.
It sounds amazing though.

You will see me at a race (hopefully the winter social) bit not on LtoB for a while. I am so impressed with you both.
Distance is of far more interest than speed to be honest.

Training for B2L not begun yet...only doing short runs for the mo...though may get a 10 miler in Sunday.
I'll be preparing a 52 week schedule soon though.....
Trin,
I guess we ought to do a couple of training runs/races together sometime before the race itself. Draycote35 would seem a sensible choice for a long 'un. Any ideas for a couple of others in midlands somewhere...halfway for thee and me?
